take each tomato and cut into quarter do not remove stem core

place on sheet pan and drizzle olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic and roast at 350 for 10 to 15 minutes till skin on tomato starts to blister

take out and let cool for 15 minutes the sprinkle basil over top and serve
